Aaron Randazzo stopped all 15 shots that he faced to lead the Notre Dame Hounds to a 4-0 shutout win over the host Sudbury Wolves on Tuesday at the 2018 Telus Cup.

The win improves the Hounds record to 2-0 to start the midget AAA hockey national championship.

Quinn Schmiemann scored the eventual game-winner just 2:57 into the game and it stood up the rest of the way as Notre Dame limited the Wolves' offence throughout the game.

Cordel Larson made it 2-0 with 51 seconds left in the first period; a power play goal by Ethan Ernst extended that lead to three midway through the second; and Drew Englot finished off the scoring with 1:22 to go in the second.

The Hounds will continue the round robin on Wednesday afternoon when they face the Quebec representative, Cantonniers de Magog, at 1:30 p.m. The Cantonniers are also 2-0 so far.
