The Notre Dame Hounds are still undefeated at the 2018 Telus Cup after they knocked off the Cantonniers de Magog, 4-2, in round robin action on Wednesday.

Nolan Renwick had a goal and two points to lead the way for the Hounds as they improved to 3-0 at the midget AAA national championship in Sudbury, Ont.

Charles Beaudoin opened the scoring for the Cantonniers with a power play goal midway through the first, but Renwick struck back three minutes later for the Hounds to tie the game at 1-1 after one.

Quinn Schmeimann put the Hounds in front for good early in the second period and Zach Plucinski added to the lead with a power play goal early in the third.

The Cantonniers pulled back within one with just over six minutes to play, but Coalson Wolford sealed the win for Notre Dame with an empty net goal in the final minute.

Hounds goalie Aaron Randazzo made 27 saves in the win.

The Hounds have another big game on tap for Thursday when they will take on the 2-0-1 Lethbridge Hurricanes at 10 a.m. A win for Notre Dame would seal a spot in the medal round this weekend.

The round robin ends on Friday with Notre Dame facing the 1-2 Moncton Flyers. The semifinals are on Saturday and the Gold and Bronze medal games go on Sunday.
