Brett Howden has the bragging rights on teammates Noah Gregor and Zach Sawchenko after he and Team Orr skated to a 3-2 win in the CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Vancouver on Thursday night.

Team Orr's Pascal Laberge and Pierre-Luc Dubois led the offence with three points each in the win.

Vancouver Giants forward Ty Ronning opened the scoring just 3:09 into the game, but that goal held up until there was just under three minutes to go in the second period when Laberge tied the game.

Laberge's second straight goal, on the power play, midway through the third period gave Team Orr their first lead of the game. It didn't last long however with Windsor Spitfire forward Logan Brown tying the game under two minutes later.

Just as quickly as Team Cherry tied the game, Team Orr went back in front just 11 seconds after Brown's goal when Laberge set up Dubois to seal the win.

Sawchenko was in goal for all three of Team Orr's goals, stopping seven of ten shots in the loss. Sherbrooke's Evan Fitzpatrick started the game for Team Cherry and stopped all 17 shots he faced, while Everett goalie Carter Hart and Peterborough's Dylan Wells each allowed a goal on 36 shots from Team Cherry.

Neither Howden or Gregor factored onto the score sheet in the game, but both were able to put their skills on display with some strong scoring chances.

Early in the third period, Howden drove to the net and lifted a back hand shot just over the shoulder of Sawchenko and the net. Gregor was able to display his speed on a pair of strong rushes up ice.

All three Warriors are expected to be in the lineup on Friday when the team faces off with the Tigers in Medicine Hat.
