The Moose Jaw Warriors will be well represented at the National Men's Summer Under-18 Team selection camp in Calgary at the end of July.

Defenceman Daemon Hunt and forward Ryder Korczak were among the 44 players that received invites from Hockey Canada on Wednesday.

Hunt, originally the 15th overall pick by the Warriors in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft, posted seven goals and 20 points in 57 games during his rookie season.

The Brandon, Man. product has previous represented Canada at the 2018 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge and the 2019 World Under-18 Hockey Championship.

The Warriors acquired Korczak from the Calgary Hitmen as part of the Jett Woo trade. He had eight goals and 15 points in 50 games with Calgary last season.

The Yorkton product is the only player from Saskatchewan invited to the camp, which runs from July 26-30 in Calgary.

The 2019 Hlinka Gretzky Cup will be on the ice in the Czech Republic and Slovakia from Aug. 5-10.

Warriors prospect Corson Ceulemans was one of 112 players that were invited to the National Under-17 Development Camp, which will happen from July 19-26 in Calgary. Ceulemans is committed to the University of Wisconsin.

Nolan Allan from Davidson and Cole Sillinger from Regina were also invited to the camp.
