The WHL's Eastern Conference Final is all knotted up at two games a piece after the Lethbridge Hurricanes beat the Swift Current Broncos 5-1 in Game 4 on Wednesday night.

Lethbridge has now won back-to-back games to remain unbeaten on home ice in the playoffs and tie their best-of-seven series with Swift Current.

Jadon Jospeh scored a shorthanded goal only 6:28 into the game to get the Hurricanes off and running. Logan Barlage made it 2-0 for Lethbridge on a power play goal with 5:57 to go in the first period, but the Broncos were able to cut the lead back down to one only 51 seconds later on Tyler Steenbergen’s 11th of the playoffs.

The Hurricanes weren’t done however with Taylor Ross scoring another power play goal with 2:17 to play in the first, restoring the two-goal lead heading into the break.

Calen Addison added two more power play goals in the second and third periods to allow the Hurricanes to roll to the win.

Lethbridge went 4-for-10 on the power play in the game, while the Broncos’ lethal power play was held to an 0-for-7 night.

Hurricanes goalie Logan Flodell was forced to make just 25 saves for the win, while Broncos goalie Stuart Skinner allowed five goals on 28 shots.

The series will now shift back to Swift Current for Game 5 on Saturday.

The Western Conference Final returns to the ice on Thursday night for Game 4 between the Everett Silvertips and Tri-City Americans in Kennewick, Wash. Everett has a 2-1 series lead.
