The 2012 High School Junior Girls Volleyball season got underway on Monday night.

There was a four team round robin that took place at Central Collegiate with Central Gold, Peacock Green, Craik and Central Butte taking part.

Peacock went 3-3; winning both their games against Central (27-25, 25-22); spliting their games against Central Butte (23-25, 25-22); and dropping both to Craik (25-27, 16-25).

Central finished at 2-4.  They split their games against Craik (25-11, 13-25) and against Central Butte (7-25, 25-19) to go with the two losses against Peacock.

Central Butte was 3-3 and Craik had the best record at 4-2.

There was also games at Peacock and in Chaplin on Monday, but no results were submitted.

Next Junior Girls action is on Thursday with games in Caronport and at Central.  The Junior Boys season opens on Wednesday at Peacock and Cornerstone.
