There was overtime in the Moose Jaw High School Junior Basketball League on Wednesday night.

Sydney Measner scored the game-winning points for the Peacock Green Toilers in a 50-48 overtime win over the Vanier Spirits.

The win keeps the Green Toilers in first place at 6-2 this season, while Vanier falls to 4-4 and sits in second place in the junior girls division.

In other junior girls action on Wednesday, the Central Cyclones won 56-37 over the Peacock Orange Toilers. Central is third at 3-5, while Peacock falls to 0-8.

The Central Butte Bulldogs won 64-29 over the Riverview Royals in the junior varsity girls division. Central Butte improves to 5-2, while Riverview is now 1-5.

In the junior boys league, the Central Gold Cyclones cruised to a 96-38 win over the Vanier JV Vikings. Central Gold remains undefeated at 7-0, while Vanier is 1-5.

The Peacock Green Toilers pulled out a 72-62 win over the Cornerstone/Riverview Royals. Peacock Green is 6-1 in the junior boys division, while the Royals are 4-3 in the JV division.

Also, Central Butte pulled out a narrow 57-53 win over the Assiniboia Rockets. The Bulldogs sit at 2-5 and the Rockets fall to 1-5.
