If you want to help some community organizations while parking at the Scotties next month, here's you chance.

Access to a limited number of parking spots is available for the Feb. 14-Feb. 23 tournament through Curl Moose Jaw's program.

“We’ll have four lots available to park on, one being right on the venue site within seconds of the building,” said Curl Moose Jaw president Kevin Dedelley. “And then the remaining three lots would be across the street to the east on First Avenue (Northwest), and again, a minute walk to the rink.”

It’s $150 through the entire tournament from the play-in game Feb. 14 right through to the final Feb. 23.

Proceeds from the parking will go to programs from Kidsport, Curl Moose Jaw, the Friendly City Optimist Club, Running Wild Rescue and the Moose Jaw Kinsmen Flying Fins swimming club.

“All the funds will stay in Moose Jaw and will go to the various volunteer groups,” he said. “You don’t have to deal with any parking issues. You park and go watch your games and don’t have to worry about plugging a meter.”

Anyone interested in reserving these spots can email curlmoosejaw@hotmail.com, or contact the organization on their Facebook page.
