An eight-team bonspiel for the Saskatchewan men's curling tour will be taking place in Lumsden this weekend.

Local competitors include a member of the Kelly Knapp rink, which includes Brock Montgomery at third, the Sam Wills rink that has Moose Jaw teacher Grady Lamontagne at third, and the Regina Highland Club's Ben Gamble rink, which has former and current Moose Javians in Gamble, third Braydon Mohns and Tyler Krupski.

Ten teams will be at the Saskatoon Nutana curling club for that part of the province's bonspiel. Chamberlain's Carson Ackerman will skip a team there.

There are three other events for curlers to get points for the SaskTel Tankard between now and the last chance bonspiel in early January.
