Krupski got back on track with a 9-8 win over Walter on Saturday afternoon, but that ended later in the day as he lost out to Kirkpatrick.

Gamble picked up one win in four games, beating Swift Current's Reagan Hadden in the B event after dropping his opener, 9-5, to Kirkpatrick. After the win over Hadden, Gamble lost 8-5 to the Fell rink and then 8-6 to the Walter rink.

One local curler did secure a spot at provincials on the weekend as Derek Owens is the second on the Brent Gedak rink, which earned one of the three spots, coming out of the B event.

The Scott Bitz rink out of Regina qualified out of the A event, while the Ryan Deis rink from Fox Valley earned the C event spot in provincials.
