The Central Cyclones won the South Central District boys title in Avonlea, beating Peacock in the final, while Assiniboia won both the girls and mixed titles in Central Butte.

Peacock ended up securing the second regional spot in the mixed division, while Central picked up the other girls’ spot at regionals.

The Cyclones had a perfect two days in Avonlea, beating Eyebrow, Avonlea and Peacock on their way to the district title.

At the girls districts, Assiniboia knocked off Eyebrow in the ‘A’ final to advance and then Central up ended Eyebrow in the ‘B’ final. 

Vanier lost out to Central in the ‘B’ semifinal. They dropped down to the ‘B’ side after losing their opening game to Eyebrow.

The mixed final saw Assiniboia top Avonlea to lock-up a spot at regionals and then Peacock beat Avonlea in the ‘B’ final to take the other spot.

Cornerstone dropped their opening game to Avonlea; they followed it up with a win over Central Butte; and then fell to Peacock in the ‘B’ semifinal.

The boys and girls regionals will be hosted Mar. 2-3 at the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre, while the mixed teams will be heading to Assiniboia.
