The Moose Jaw Warriors posted a season-high 46 shots on Saturday and went on to a 3-2 win over the Red Deer Rebels at the Enmax Centrium, extending their winning streak to eight straight games.

The Warriors also have points in ten straight games and an 8-1-1-0 record on the road this season.

Tristin Langan led the Warriors offence with three assists, while Daemon Hunt, Tate Popple, and Jett Woo found the back of the net in the win.

The Warriors created quality chances in the first period, they outshot the Rebels, 16-7, in the frame and took a 1-0 lead at 7:18 when Hunt scored his third of the season with a shot from the blue-line.

It didn't take long for Red Deer to respond, as just 39 seconds later, Rebels leading-scorer Brandon Hagel tied the game at one.

Red Deer took a 2-1 lead with 93 seconds left in the first period when Zak Smith finished on a rush up the ice.

Moose Jaw came out hard and fast in the second period, they came up the ice with speed and control, and inside the neutral zone, they were able to create turnovers and they had an 18-5 advantage on the shot clock in the period.

At 1:55, Langan tracked down a puck in the Red Deer right circle and made a cross-ice pass to Popple inside the right circle where his shot beat Rebels goalie Byron Fancy, his sixth goal of the season to tie the game at two.

Moose Jaw took a 3-2 lead at 4:33 when they drove up the ice and back across the Red Deer line, Langan came in on the right wing and dropped the puck back to Justin Almeida between the circles where he put a shot off the cross-bar, the puck sat in the crease until Woo jumped in and pushed it over the goal line for his fourth of the season.

Red Deer tried to come back in the third, but once again the Warriors controlled the flow of the period, as they outshot the Rebels 12-6 in the frame and limited Red Deer's quality chances.
