The Moose Jaw Mallards and Prairie Dogs both came out on the winning side on Thursday night in Baseball Regina action.

The Bantam AA Mallards went into the Queen City and beat the Regina Pacers, 11-9, on Thursday. The victory avenged a loss to the Pacers on Monday for the Mallards, who are now 5-5 on the year.

The Mallards are off now until Wednesday when they head back to Regina to face the Blue Jays.

The Mosquito AA Prairie Dogs scored a 16-2 win over the Lumsden Cubs on Thursday to stay undefeated in league play this season.

Coming off a second place finish at a Mosquito AAA tournament over the weekend, the Prairie Dogs kept rolling offensively in the big win over the Cubs at River Park.

The Prairie Dogs will get back on the field on Wednesday night when they face the White Butte White Broncos.

The Moose Jaw Canucks had their Wednesday game against the Regina White Sox rained out after the second inning.

The Canucks return to action on Saturday for a doubleheader against the Regina Buffaloes at Ross Wells Park. They hit the field at noon and 3 p.m.

Moose Jaw sits at 2-3 on the year in the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League's midget AA division.
