The Moose Jaw Miller Express have secured the commitment of a shortstop from California.

Originally from Orange County, Colin Conroy has spent the last two seasons with Towson University in Maryland.

In 14 games in 2020 with the Towson Tigers of the Colonial Athletic Association, Conroy hit .204 with a .926 fielding percentage at short. In 30 games over the past two seasons, Conroy has a .248 average.

Interestingly, in addition to Conroy, Towson's baseball team in 2019 also featured outfielder Tom Flacco, the brother of longtime NFL quarterback Joe Flacco and a recent Saskatchewan Roughriders signee at QB.
