The Moose Jaw Miller Express takes the road to Regina tonight in the second half of a home-and-home against the Regina Red Sox after dropping their last two games. In their most recent outing Thursday night, the Millers lost at home in Ross Wells Park by a score of 12-1.

Things didn't look good early on last night, as the Millers gave up six runs in the top of the first inning. Their one ray of light was in the second inning when Adam Cook hit a solo home run; however, being down 7-1 at the time was too much for Moose Jaw to come back from.

If the Millers hope to remain in third place in their conference, they must turn their game around quickly as they are 3-7 in their last 10 games played and are only ahead of the fourth place Swift Current 57s by a single game.

The Millers, however, will have a good opportunity to stack their standings as they play six games in the next six days, including a home-and-home against the 57s on Monday and Tuesday.

This weekend we'll see the Miller Express take on the last place Yorkton Cardinals, who are 2-8 in their last 10 and only have 4 wins on the entire year. Saturday's game will be played at Jubilee Park in Yorkton, and in Moose Jaw at Ross Wells Park the following day.

The Moose Jaw Miller Express currently sits at a record of 11-10 on the season.
