Coming off a win that will be taking her to Red Deer in February, Moose Jaw's Skylar Ackerman is taking part in the 2018-19 Curl Sask Junior Mens and Womens Provincials this weekend.

The Ackerman rink was dubbed the best in the province at the beginning of the month after earning a green jacket at the Canada Winter Games Provincial Curling Trials, her team will now move on to the Canada Winter Games in the New Year.

Now, the Ackerman rink has their focus on a tournament just two hours north of the friendly city as they get set for their first match Thursday night in the bridge city. They'll be hitting the pebbled ice against Team Fahl in the 2nd draw at 8 pm.

The team has at least one game a day until Saturday when they kick things off against Team Englot at 9 am, then it's a make or break moment as Teams continue to fight for a chance at finals in starting in the afternoon.

Follow along throughout the tournament for full results from the Curl Sask Junior Provincials.
