It's been a good month for Moose Jaw's Regan Seiferling.

First, the Yorkton Terriers defenceman committed to a NCAA Division 1 school and now he's earned an invite from Hockey Canada to the Canada West camp, which will pick the team for the 2015 World Junior A Hockey Challenge in December.

60 players from the Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC Junior Hockey Leagues have been invited to the camp, which will run Dec. 5-8 in Leduc, Alberta.

Seiferling has posted seven goals and 13 points in 24 games for the Terriers this season, his second in the SJHL.

There's eight players in total from the SJHL selected from the camp, as well as projected first round NHL draft picks, forward Tyson Jost and defenceman Dante Fabbro, from the BCHL's Penticton Vees. Jost and Fabbro both represented Canada West last year.

During the camp, the players will be divided into three teams and play four intrasquad games over the three days. Following the selection camp, Canada West will meet the Russians in a pre-tournament game on Dec. 11 before opening the tournament on Dec. 13 against the Czech Republic.
