Moose Jaw's Bryan Thomson made three saves in the shootout for Team Red as they beat Team Gold, 3-2, on Wednesday at Hockey Canada's Under-17 Summer Development Camp in Calgary.

Thomson, a Lethbridge Hurricanes prospect, allowed one goal during regulation time and then turned away three of five shooters in the shootout to help his team to a win in their opening scrimmage.

Warriors defenceman Daemon Hunt was held off the scoresheet for Team Blue in their 4-2 loss to Team White, while Warriors assistant coach Mark O'Leary was behind the bench for Team Green in their 5-4 win over Team Black on Wednesday.

Thomson and Team Red face-off with Hunt and Team Blue at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, while Team Green takes on Team Gold at 6 p.m. and Team Black goes up against Team White at 7:45 p.m.
