Moose Jaw's Marie Wright and Saskatchewan put together a dominating run through the round robin at the 2018 Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship in Leduc, Alba.

Saskatchewan finished the round robin with two more wins on Friday, beating Quebec, 8-4, and New Brunswick, 10-3, to sit at 9-0 and take first place heading into the medal round.

In the morning on Friday, Saskatchewan trailed Quebec 3-2 after four ends, but Wright led a big comeback with two in the fifth, two in the sixth and two more in the eighth for an 8-4 win.

Some big ends led Saskatchewan to the win in the afternoon draw against New Brunswick. Team Sask opened with two in the first and after New Brunswick tied it up over the next two ends, Saskatchewan answered with three in the fourth.

New Brunswick could only answer with one in the fifth and Sask came back with five in the sixth to seal the win.

Saskatchewan will now go into the semifinal on Saturday night at 5:30 p.m. as the top seed against Newfoundland and Labrador, who finished the round robin at 5-4. The other semifinal is between 7-2 British Columbia and 6-3 Manitoba.

The gold and bronze medal games go on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
