Three games hit the court on Monday night in the Moose Jaw High School Junior Basketball League after a pair of games were postponed due to the cold weather.

The Cornerstone Falcons scored a 52-34 win over the Riverview Royals in a junior girls varsity match-up between the two South Hill schools.

Grace Geradts scored 20 points to lead the Falcons to a 7-0 record, while Trista Lang, Eva Gary and Kendra Magne chipped in with six each.

Brianna Sieferling paced the Royals’ attack with 10 points. They’re 1-6 on the year.

In boys action on Monday, the Central Red Cyclones improved to 7-0 in the junior boys varsity league with a 62-51 win over the Riverview/Cornerstone Royals, who dropped to 3-4.

Kelsie Prestie led the way for Central Red in the win with a game-high 23 points, while Riley Marshall had 20 points in the loss for the Royals.

The Peacock Orange Toilers won their second straight, beating the Vanier White Vikings, 67-58.  Peacock sits at 2-5, while Vanier falls to 0-6.

Quinn Ingalls had a game-high 23 points in the win for the Orange Toilers, while Sam Moyse posted 16 in the loss for Vanier.

The Peacock Green Toilers were scheduled to host the Central Butte Bulldogs in a boys division game, while the Central Butte girls were scheduled to be at Vanier to face the Spirits, but both games were postponed. No make-up dates have been announced as of yet.

The senior league hits the court for four games on Tuesday night with Peacock heading over to Central and Vanier hosting Caronport. The games go at 6:20 and 8 p.m.
