The National Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championships scheduled for Moose Jaw this season were cancelled by Curling Canada along with five other major events.

The Continental Cup in Oakville, Ont., the Canadian Under-18 Championships in Timmins, Ont.; the New Holland Canadian Junior (Under-21) championships in Fort McMurray, Alta.; the inaugural Canadian Under 15 RockFest, and the U SPORTS/Canadian Colleges Athletic Association championships have been canceled and will not be rescheduled for later in the season.

March 21-27, 2021 had been set as the dates for the wheelchair curling nationals.

Curling Canada said the decisions to cancel events came down primarily to the safety of participants and volunteers, travel restrictions and the costs of running the events with numerous restrictions due to the pandemic.

They said the host cities for the events have agreed to host Curling Canada events in the future.
