The Candace Newkirk rink out of Moose Jaw improved to 1-1 at the 2015 Travelers Curling Club Championship in Ottawa on Tuesday and did so emphatically.

After falling 7-6 in a tight game against Ontario to open the event on Monday, the Saskatchewan rink rolled to a 16-0 win over Nunavut on Tuesday in their second game.

Saskatchewan stole in every end against Nunavut, scoring four in the first, two in the second and third, three in the fourth and fifth, and then two more in the sixth to roll to the win.

There's two games ahead for Saskatchewan on day three on Wednesday. They will face Prince Edward Island as well as Newfoundland and Labrador.
