The Western Hockey League's Hockey Harvest Lottery continues in its last full week.

The lottery was put together by all five Saskatchewan WHL teams for their scholarship funds.

James Gallo, director of hockey administration with the Warriors, explains where the lottery is at today.

“You’ve got to remember somebody is going to be take home half,” Gallo said. “The draw date is coming Monday, Dec. 21 and imagine getting six figures into your bank account before Christmas.”

The pool is up to $280,000 as of Tuesday afternoon. Tickets for the lottery can be purchased at whl.ca/hockeyharvestlotto, or just go to mjwarriors.ca

“Just a reminder to everybody, the deadline to purchase your tickets is Sunday, December 20th at 11:59 p.m.,” he said.

Tickets are going for 1/$20, 5/$50, 20/$100, 150/$500, or 500/$1000.
