The Peacock Toilers junior basketball teams were busy on Wednesday night as three teams hit the court.

The Peacock Green Toilers won 65-55 over the Central Butte Bulldogs in the boys game. Central Butte held a 31-24 lead over the Green Toilers at halftime, but Peacock battled back for the win.

Dallas Richardson had 19 points for the Green Toilers, while Bryce Baumann added 17. Carl Martel posted a game-high 26 points in the loss for Central Butte.

In girls action, the Peacock Green Toilers secured a 59-22 win over the Riverview Royals. Ella Muchowsky and Summer Okerstrom scored 14 points each in the win for Peacock, while Zole Graves picked up seven points in the loss for Riverview.

The Central Butte Bulldogs topped the Peacock Orange Toilers, 67-30, as well on Wednesday. Desrae Miller scored 17 points in the win for Central Butte, while Iryland Gadd picked up six points for the Orange Toilers in the loss.

There are two games on the Moose Jaw High School Senior Basketball League’s schedule for Thursday night as the B.C.A. Cougars travel to Assiniboia to meet up with the Rockets. The boys game goes at 5:50 and the girls hit the court at 7:30 p.m.
