The Peacock Toilers travelled out to Caronport and swept the Briercrest Christian Academy Cougars in three straight sets on Monday night in the Moose Jaw High School Senior Volleyball League.

The win avenges Peacock’s only loss of the season, which came last week when they fell in five sets against the Cougars.

The Toilers started strong with a 25-11 win in the first set; they carried that over to the second set, winning 25-16, and then Peacock finished the night with a 25-21 win in the third set.

Peacock leads the senior girls league with a 7-1 record, while BCA dropped to 3-2 with the loss.

Both teams are back on the court during a five-game schedule on Tuesday night. The Toilers host the Vanier Spirits and Vikings, while the BCA girls and boys are at Cornerstone to take on the Falcons. The girls hit the court at 6:20 p.m. while the boys’ games go at 8 p.m.

Also Tuesday, the Central boys travel to Avonlea to face the Eagles at 7 p.m.
