Moose Jaw's Chantz Petruic is going pro.

The forward has signed with the ECHL's Wichita Thunder.

Petruic dominated the SJHL as captain of the Yorkton Terriers during the 2019-2020 season, leading the league with 58 goals and 109 points in 52 games. Those were the highest totals in several years in the league.

He had 110 career SJHL goals over 158 regular-season games and added 10 more goals in 18 playoff games. He was named the league's player of the year and MVP in his final season.

Petruic also scored 27 goals and 19 assists in his time with the Moose Jaw Generals in midget AAA from 2014-2016.
