The Moose Jaw Warriors fired 40 shots at the Seattle goal, but Calvin Pickard turned away all 40 in the Thunderbirds' 2-0 shutout win Friday night.

The loss ends Moose Jaw's four game winning streak and drops them four points back of Edmonton for top spot in the Eastern Conference after the Oil Kings beat down Brandon 7-1 Friday.

Tyler Alos and Burke Gallimore were the goal scorers for Seattle.

Moose Jaw outshot the Thunderbirds 40-22, but couldn't beat Pickard. The tribe was 0-for-7 with the man advantage.

Next action for the Warriors is Saturday as they make the short trip up to Everett for a New Year's Eve date with the Silvertips. Prairie Mobile Warriors Hockey will hit the air following the World Junior game between Canada and the U.S.
