There was little doubt that Moose Jaw Warrior star forward Brayden Point would make the team but his attendance at the World Juniors was officially confirmed this weekend as Team Canada released their roster for the big tournament set to start this weekend in Helsinki, Finland.

Point is back along with 22 other players after the roster was released Sunday.  This weekend, Team Canada had two games as part of the selection process, beating Belarus 7-1 on Saturday where Point had a goal and two points, followed by a 1-0 win over the Czechs 1-0 on Sunday that saw fellow Warrior Jiri Smejkal play for the opposition.

Canada opens the tournament against the United States on Saturday.
