A couple of big innings by the Regina Royals Rippers lifted them to a sweep of the Moose Jaw 14U Ice Sunday in a doubleheader at Optimist Park.

Game one saw the Rippers score six runs in the first inning, a deficit the Ice weren't able to overcome in a 13-4 loss.

The Moose Jaw squad got off to a better start in game two, as the Ice held a 4-2 lead after the third inning.

Regina would reply with three runs in the fourth inning and wouldn't relinquish the lead from there.

The Ice are back in action tonight, July 27, when they had to Regina to take on the Saints.
