The Saskatchewan Roughriders added some help to their secondary on Wednesday when they inked international defensive back Loucheiz Purifoy.

Purifoy was released by the Ottawa Redblacks last week after starting seven games. He posted 29 defensive tackles, one forced fumble and one interception.

The Riders are currently in their second bye week of the season, they return to the field next Sunday, Aug. 19, to battle the Calgary Stampeders.
