The Saskatchewan Roughriders have re-signed all-star Centre Dan Clark to a two year contract extension.

Clark was named an all star in 2019 for the first time in his eight year CFL career. He was the anchor of an offensive line that helped the Riders' running game to a league high 26 touchdowns on the ground and over 112 yards per game.

Before the 2019 season, Clark was involved in a single vehicle rollover in the spring driving home from an event in Cudworth and was in hospital for a short period of time before beginning his recovery.

The Riders also re-signed a key defensive player on the roster to a two year extension.

D-lineman Chad Geter returned to the team last year after a stint in Montreal.

In six games with the Riders, Geter had nine defensive tackles, two special teams tackles and three sacks.

Terms of the contracts were not released
