Two members of last year’s Saskatchewan Roughriders are coming back for the 2018 season.

The Riders announced on Monday that they have re-signed national receiver Brett Blaszko and national kicker Brett Lauther.

Blaszko — six-foot-four, 204 pounds — dressed for two games as a back-up receiver with the Riders last season. The 24-year-old Oakville, Ont. product was originally drafted in the third round of the 2016 CFL Draft by the B.C. Lions.

Lauther spent two weeks on the Riders’ practice roster in 2017 and  was also on the team’s practice roster in 2015.

The 27-year-old Saint Mary’s product was originally selected by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the seventh round of the 2013 CFL Draft. He spent two seasons with the Ti-Cats and has also been on Toronto and Edmonton’s practice rosters.
