After a 38-25 win at Mosaic Stadium last Saturday, The Saskatchewan Roughriders are gearing up for another big game against the BC Lions this weekend.

For some, like receiver Shaq Evans, they're hoping to repeat their performance from last week. Evans had 150 yards receiving and a touchdown in the win. He feels things are working well in his second year with the Riders.

"Last year I know that is was an okay season. 185 yards with no touchdowns and that was like one of my biggest motivating factors in how hard I work this year. that was my first year playing an entire season not scoring a touchdown. that was my main focus and that's what drove me," said Evans.

Evans feels back to back games against any team can be a challenge, but one the team is prepared for.

"It's tough because they've seen you already, six (or) even days ago, so they know to prepare for you. So I might get double-teamed, it might not be a 150-yard day but if I have 30 yards and swerve (Kyran Moore) has 150 or Naaman (Roosevelt) has 150 and we win, it's all good."

"You don't want to look back at last week and be like, 'oh, we won last week, so we're going to win again this week' - no you gotta come with a whole fresh new mindset, and its on the road now too, so it's a whole new environment, So we go in there with extreme focus and just focus on what we have to do. and take care of business" continued Evans.

Head coach, Craig Dickenson says the team can't take BC lightly in the rematch.

"They're a decent ball club with some really good football players and I think they're going to get it going at some point." Said Dickenson, "They out-gained us, they had the ball longer than we did, they had more first downs. We just were able to more touchdowns in. The game was closer, I felt than the score indicated."

Saskatchewan heads into week 7 with a record of 2-3 and Lions sit at 1-5.

The rematch kicks off Saturday evening at 5:00 pm at BC Place.
