The Saskatchewan Roughriders and Calgary Stampeders have swapped national players in a trade on Thursday.

Coming to Saskatchewan is defensive back Adam Laurensse, while heading to Calgary is offensive lineman Dillon Guy.

Laurensse was a seventh round pick by the Stampeders in the 2017 CFL Draft. The 23-year-old attended training camp with the Stamps before returning to the University of Calgary for his final year of eligibility.

The Riders are back on the practice field on Thursday as they continue their preparations for Sunday’s Labour Day Classic against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
