One of the key members of the 2013 Grey Cup championship team is coming back to the Saskatchewan Roughriders.  The team announced on Thursday that they have re-signed defensive back Terrell Maze.  Terms of the deal were not released.

Maze is coming off a strong second season with the Riders in which he started 13 regular season games at defensive back, registering 27 defensive tackles, five pass knockdowns and one interception.  He also started both playoff games and the Grey Cup, where he chipped in three defensive tackles and a knockdown in the Riders' 45-23 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The 29-year-old originally signed with the Riders before the 2012 CFL season and will enter 2014 with 29 regular season games under this belt.

He was scheduled to become a free agent on February 15th.
