Fans of the Saskatchewan Roughriders can start dreaming about the future.

On Wednesday, the CFL's nine teams released lists of ten players that they currently have on their negotiation lists.

The Riders' list featured four quarterbacks, including Ian Book, a junior who has led the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to a 12-0 record and a spot in the College Football Playoff.

LSU QB Joe Burrow, North Texas QB Mason Fine, Penn State QB Trace McSorley, Utah DE Nate Orchard, Toledo RB Terry Swanson, Grand Valley State LB David Talley, Southern RB Lenard Tillery, Northern Illinois DB Shawun Lurry, and Alabama State OT Jylan Ware rounded out the list for Saskatchewan.

Other notable players appearing on lists from around the league include Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa with Hamilton and currently Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson on B.C.’s list.

Riders Sign Four Nationals

The Riders have also started filling out their roster for next season as they signed four national players on Tuesday.

Regina's Mitchell Picton, who was selected by Saskatchewan in the fifth round of the 2017 CFL Draft, was one of the players signed by the Riders.

After finishing his career with the University of Regina Rams, Picton spent the 2017 playoffs on the Riders’ practice roster. He was also on the team's practice roster in 2018.

Offensive lineman Emmanuel Adusei is another 2017 draft pick by the Riders, while defensive linemen Mathieu Breton and Tresor Mafuta were both selected in the 2018 CFL Draft.
