Reports out of Riderville have the Saskatchewan Roughriders set to name Craig Dickenson as the team's new head coach.

The Riders have called a media conference with General Manager Jeremy O’Day for 2 p.m. Friday afternoon and they're expected to name Dickenson as the new field boss.

This will be the first head coaching role for the 47-year-old Great Falls, MT.

Dickenson has served as the Riders' special teams coordinator for the past three seasons under Chris Jones. He was also with the team in the same role from 2011-12.

His brother Dave Dickenson is the head coach of the Calgary Stampeders.
