A few changes to Moose Jaw Minor Girls Fastball for the 2020 season were decided on at their AGM earlier this week.

As a one-year pilot project, Minor girls fastball players who make the ICE teams in either the bantam or midget ages will now have the option to play for the Ice, house or both.

Also, practices for the house divisional nights will be on the same nights as the ICE designated nights.

A $50 rebate on player registration fees will be applied for coaches of each house yeam, to be awarded at the end of the house season.

All coaches in the squirt divisions and higher will need to have completed their Softball Saskatchewan Community Softball Coaches Clinic unless approved by the MJMGF board.

President Craig Hemingway and secretary Carime Molde had their terms renewed. On the board, Troy Rusu will be vice-president, Vicki Halverson is the treasurer and Shawn Okerstrom is the commissioner.

Five new board members were also added to the board, those being Chad Koch, Selina Muir, Tammy Arden, Jordan Molde and Lynn McKenzie.

Registration for minor girls fastball will take place early in the new year.
