They scored a decisive 5-1 victory on Friday night and followed up with a hard-fought 5-3 win on Saturday night.  The Moose Jaw Warriors taking advantage of home-ice advantage, taking a 2 games to none lead in their first round, WHL playoff series vs. Saskatoon Blades.

Edmonton Oil Kings and Winnipeg Ice also with two games to none leads in their first round series while Brandon and Red Deer split their first two.

In the NHL, the regular season will wrap up this week.  The playoff teams all set in the Eastern Conference while the two wild card spots have yet to be clinched in the West.  Nashville and Dallas are hoping to clinch this week.  Yesterday, Columbus beat Edmonton 5-2, Winnipeg beat Colorado 4-1, Boston over Montreal 5-3, Toronto Maple Leafs beat Washington 4-3 in a shootout.

In National Lacrosse League action, the Saskatchewan Rush won their final home game of the season on Saturday with a 17-14 victory over the San Diego Seals. The Rush will miss the playoffs.  They wrap up their season on Saturday in Fort Worth against Panther City.

Toronto Raptors in another do-or-die game tonight as they play in Philadelphia.  The 76ers lead that playoff series 3 games to one.

The Blue Jays suffered an 8-7, extra inning loss in Houston yesterday.  The Jays host Boston tonight, the first of a 4-game set.
