It's a BIG weekend for a number of Western Hockey League teams with a number of clubs hoping to make the playoffs.  Swift Current Broncos sit in the final spot in the Eastern Conference today BUT the Calgary Hitmen, Regina Pats and Prince Albert Raiders can still catch them.

The Broncos host Prince Albert tomorrow night while the Pats will host Winnipeg.

The Moose Jaw Warriors have two games remaining....they have clinched a spot in the post season.  They'll play at Lethbridge tomorrow night and finish their regular season Easter Sunday in Regina against the Pats.

The U-18 Triple "A" Hockey League championship final resumes tonight in Warman with the host Wildcats trailing that best of five 1 game to none after Notre Dame took game one 4-3 in double overtime earlier this week.

In the NHL, just one Canadian team in action - Montreal Canadiens absorbed a 5-1 loss in Columbus.  A full schedule tonight including Edmonton in Nashville and the Calgary Flames hosting Vegas.

Toronto Raptors will open their first round series in Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon in NBA action.

To the Major Leagues, Vladimir Guerrero Junior went 4 for 4 with 3 home runs as the Blue Jays beat the Yankees 6-4.  Those teams will wrap up that 4 game series tonight at Yankee Stadium.
