Moose Jaw's Branden Klatt had an assist as he helped the Yorkton Terriers to a 3-2 win over the Nipawin Hawks in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Playoffs on Tuesday night.

Jaxsen Wiebe and former Moose Jaw Generals forward Jake Tremblay had a goal and two points each in the loss for Nipawin.

The Terriers now hold a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. They play Game 4 on Wednesday night in Yorkton.

Also, Chase Lacombe and the Humboldt Broncos took a 3-1 series lead on the Estevan Bruins with an 8-4 win in Game 4. Brayden Camrud had a hat trick and five points in the win.

In other action on Tuesday, the Battlefords North Stars won 3-2 in overtime against the Flin Flon Bombers to take a 3-0 series lead, and the Kindersley Klippers won 2-1 in overtime against the Melfort Mustangs to extend their series. Melfort has a 3-1 series lead.
