There were 14 high school girls soccer teams in Moose Jaw over the weekend, and the always-dominant Swift Current Ardens managed to go undefeated to win the tournament.

The Ardens defeated St. Mary's Prince Albert 5-0 in the gold medal game Saturday afternoon.

Jennae Carlson scored twice for the Ardens, while MJ Anderson had a goal and two assists. Tenille Willows and Heidi Spetz scored the other goals, while Jasmine Temoshawsky had the clean sheet - her third of the tournament.

Among the Moose Jaw teams participating, Central lost out to Regina's LeBoldus 4-0 in the fourth place game, and Vanier beat out Peacock 3-0 in the consolation semifinal and then defeated Estevan 4-1 in the consolation final.

The Moose Jaw High School Soccer League season gets back underway tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. when Peacock travels to Swift Current and Central is at Weyburn in the boys division.
