Moose Jaw will be well represented on Team South West’s male and female hockey teams for the 2018 Saskatchewan Winter Games, which will be happening in North Battleford in February.

The male roster will see five players from the Moose Jaw Bantam AA Warriors hitting the ice at the games, including goalie Jayden Watterson, Carter Price, Brennan Blatz, Hunter Bowes and Mitchell Parr.

Bowes sits fifth on the Warriors in scoring with three goals and five points in 19 games, while Blatz has two goals and three points. Price and Parr each have one assist in 17 games this season.

Watterson has appeared in 12 games for the Warriors this season, posting an 0-10-0 record with a 9.16 goals against average.

On the female side, Moose Jaw will be represented by Larissa Bohlken fro the Regina Rebels midget AAA team, as well as Ellie Gauvin, Makayla Anderson, Sidney Ellingson and Taylor Kaulbach from the Moose Jaw Bantam A Mavericks. Mossbank's Tia Miller from the Bantam A Mavericks is also on Team South East.

Bohlken has one assist in 15 games as a rookie with the Rebels in the Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League.

Ellingson is fourth on the team in scoring with nine goals and 26 points in 13 games for the Mavericks, while Anderson has 14 goals and 23 points in 14 games; Gauvin has three goals and 11 points; Kaulbach has one goal and seven points; and Miller has put up five goals and nine points this season.

The Saskatchewan Winter Games run from Feb. 18-24 in North Battleford.
