Moose Jaw's Olivia Howe and the Notre Dame Hounds are coming home champions after a knocking off the Edmonton Thunder 5-2 on Saturday night in the 2011 Esso Cup Final.

Howe iced the game with an empty netter in the final minute and finished with two points.  Captain Jennifer More opened the scoring and added another in the third to lead the way for the Hounds.

Samantha Langford made 20 saves in the win.

Notre Dame lost last year's final, but bounced back to go 27-0-1 during Saskatchewan league play and then finished the round robin at the Esso Cup at 5-0-1 with their only loss coming in a shootout to the Thunder in the tournament opener.
