The action has really picked up this week in the Moose Jaw High School Junior Volleyball Leagues with busy nights on Monday and Wednesday.

In junior girls action on Wednesday night at Riverview, the Peacock 10s posted a perfect night, winning both their matches in the three-team round robin in straight sets.

Peacock beat Caronport (25-11, 25-17) to open the night and then finished things off with a win over the Riverview/Mortlach Royals (25-17, 25-14).

The Royals won the other game on the night, beating the Cougars in two sets (25-15, 25-18).

On Monday night, the junior boys league hit the court for three-team round robins at Central and in Central Butte.

At Central, the Riverview Royals needed three sets in both their matches, but came out on top in both.

The Royals beat the Vanier Vikings (25-20, 13-25, 15-11) in their opening game and then followed that up with a three-set win over the Cyclones (25-20, 23-25, 15-9).

In the other game, Vanier won in two straight sets over Central (25-13, 25-13).

Out in Central Butte, the Peacock Toilers came away with wins over Craik and the host Bulldogs.

Peacock topped Craik in three sets (25-23, 21-25, 15-7) and beat Central Butte in two sets (25-15, 25-23).

The night ended with Craik winning in three sets over Central Butte (23-25, 25-11, 15-10).
