Moose Jaw Warrior season tickets are ready to be picked up.

Fans were lining up at the Warrior office throughout the day to get their tickets for the 2012-13 season.

The office will be open Thursday and Friday during regular business hours, and then Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday from 9:00am to 3:00pm

Single game tickets are also on sale now at the Mosaic Place box office.

There's a big weekend ahead for the Warriors, they'll head to Maple Creek on Friday for a preseason meeting with the Swift Current Broncos, and then on Sunday, it's back on the ice at Mosaic Place to face off with the Broncos again.

A pair of games in the Western Hockey League on Wednesday night as Calgary beat Lethbridge, 6-1, in Taber, Alberta, and Kamloops knocked off Vancouver, 7-4.

There will be two more games on Thursday, including Regina hosting Brandon at the Co-operators Centre.

The Moose Jaw Skating Club will be holding registration for the upcoming season over the next few days at the Town N' Country Mall.

They'll be set up on Thursday from 11:00am to 9:00pm, Friday from 12:00pm to 8:00pm, and then again on Saturday from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Registration will be open for all age groups and programs.

Moose Jaw Minor Football gets back on the gridiron on Thursday night for one game at Elks Field.

It's a Pee Wee match up between the Ti-Cats and Lions.

Kick off is at 6:30.

The Toronto Blue Jays avoided a series sweep on Wednesday night with a 6-4 win over the Baltimore Orioles at the Rogers Centre.  The win also ended a four game losing skid for the Jays.

They get Thursday off before opening a weekend series with the Red Sox on Friday at Fenway Park.
