The Vanier Vikings won big in High School Boys Soccer on Wednesday at Gutheridge Field as they rolled over Riverview/Cornerstone, 11-3.

Albert Brown led the way with three goals for Vanier.  Nicolas and Daniel Digirlamo each added two in the win.

Tyson Pinfold scored two for the Royals and Dez Morehouse added the other.

Vanier takes on Central in the next boys game on Monday.  There's a pair of Girls games on Thursday with Peacock and Vanier squaring off at Sunningdale Field and Central in Swift Current.

Elks Field will be busy with Touch Football on Thurday night as there's three games on the field.

The Kittens and Royals open the night at 6:00pm, the Decepticons and Renegades are next at 7:30pm and the 3 Toed Sloths and Ball Hawks finish the night at 9:00pm.

Thursday is the final day to sign up for the 2012-13 curling season.

Registration is being held from 1:00pm until 8:00pm in the lobby at the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre.

The Toronto Blue Jays try to avoid the sweep of their three-game series against the Seattle Mariners when they meet on Thursday night at the Rogers Centre.  The Jays lost 3-2 on Wednesday.

Henderson Alvarez starts for the Jays, while the M's counter with Cy Young candidate Felix Hernandez.
