The Peacock Toilers senior girls basketball team is looking strong heading into the playoffs.

They won 76-34 last night over B.C.A. in Moose Jaw senior high school hoops action.

Toilers forward Caitlin Miller got 12 points in the game.

“We worked really hard in practice and that translates into game play,” Miller said. “We communicate really well.”

Miller got some key points but many of the Toilers starters and bench players played well in the game.

“It’s something we do as a team, no matter what, our team is always staying positive, always encouraging,” she said. “It’s keeping our spirits up.”

Anna Maelde and Ella Muchowski led the Toilers in scoring with 14 points, while Caitlyn Johnson added 13.

Mya Matthies led BCA with 16 points.
