The WHL rookie scoring leader continues to impress.

Moose Jaw Warriors forward Brayden Tracey was named WHL Player of the Week on Monday after posting 11 points in four games last week.

Tracey leads all WHL rookies with 73 points in 58 games this season.

The 17-year-old had two goals and three points last Monday against the Prince Albert Raiders. He followed that up with two more goals on Friday's 4-2 win over the Swift Current Broncos.

Back at Mosaic Place on Saturday, Tracey picked up a goal and three points in the Warriors' 5-2 victory over the Regina Pats and then on Sunday, he finished his week with another goal and three points as the Warriors downed the Kootenay Ice, 5-1.

Tracey's big week has moved him into a tie for 10th place overall in WHL scoring with 31 goals and 44 assists this season.

Tracey is the third Warrior to win a WHL Player of the Week award in 2019 and the fifth overall in the 2018-19 season.

The Warriors return to the ice on Tuesday night when they host the Red Deer Rebels at Mosaic Place.
