The Moose Jaw Warriors have added another young forward to their group with a Monday trade.

The Warriors acquired 17-year-old forward Kjell Kjemhus from the Prince George Cougars in exchange for a seventh-round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.

The five-foot-10, 186-pound forward has two assists in five games this season with the Cougars. Last season with Prince George, he picked up two goals and four points in 25 games.

Kjemhus was originally drafted by the Regina Pats in the fourth round of the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft. He was dealt to Prince George as part of the trade that sent Jesse Gabrielle to the Pats.
